Glycerol belongs to a group of medicines which due to its mildly irritating action promotes the emptying of the bowels
Used as a laxative for short term treatment of constipation

Active Ingredient
Suppository contains

Glycerol 70% w/w

Directions

Adults - moisten the tip of the suppository before use and insert into the rectum (back passage)

Caution

Do not swallow
Avoid using during the first 3 months of pregnancy
Do not use if you beleive you have an intenal blockage
Keep out of the reach and sight of children

Your symptoms persist
You know you are sensitive to any of the ingredients
You are pregnent, planning to become pregnent or breastfeeding

Side effects
Can sometimes cause side effects although these are usually minor
